The Ball State Alumnus is published six times per year and is mailed to in excess of 132,222 households. The 40-page, bi-monthly magazine provides alumni information on a wide variety of topics, including events, outreach, class notes, faculty news, and more.

Additionally, a fiscal year annual report is produced annually.  Topics include alumni contacts, leadership, staff, programs and services, awards, reunions, professional and constituent societies, financial information and past activities.

A full-color calendar that is distributed to major donors and friends of the university is also produced yearly. The calendar features campus buildings and scenes.

Also, a brochure displaying Garfield on the cover is included in a packet of information that is mailed by the Alumni Association to all new graduates. The brochure highlights benefits provided to alumni, programs and services available to alumni, alumni contacts in Indiana, as well as throughout the U.S., alumni demographics and useful phone numbers around campus.

Finally, NEWS from the Cardinal's NEST, an e-mail information service, is available to alumni. This is a complimentary service that is sent monthly via e-mail.
