"Creating a Bond that Never Ends" was the 2003 Black Alumni Reunion theme. The reunion kicked off with a luncheon on Friday, August 1, 2003 in the Alumni Center.
Alumni gathered for a reception in the Alumni Center Conservatory on Friday evening.
The reunion gave alumni a chance to see old friends and to meet new people.
Alumni enjoyed good food, fellowship and music.

The reunion was still going strong on Saturday August 2. Several participants attended a financial planning session presented by Rob Tyler of Tyler Financial.
Saturday's sessions also included a wine tasting sponsored by Chateau Thomas Winery.

Eugene White '81EdS82EdD, an Outstanding Alumni Award recipient, also served as the keynote speaker.

John "Beck" Hannaford, MA90, BSU special account analyst, poses with longtime friend Myland Brown, EdD68. Brown was a 2001 Outstanding Black Alumni recipient, and Hannford's father, John, was Brown's professor in 1968.
The reunion festivities concluded on Sunday, August 3 with a farewell brunch.
The three-day reunion was a success to all that attended. The Alumni Association and the Black Alumni Constituent Society hope that they helped the participants "Create a Bond that Never Ends."
