The kick-off events for Homecoming 2008 will provide new and fun opportunities for students, faculty/staff, the Muncie community, and alumni to become involved in and to enjoy Ball State's Homecoming week.
This year the Residence Halls Dinner will be held in the LaFollette, Noyer, and Elliott dining facilities, where diners will receive a FREE Ball State Homecoming foam finger!
Fun and games began in Irving Gym at 7:00 p.m. Athletic Director Tom Collins will give a pep-talk, followed by performances by the Cheerleaders, BSU Drumline and Code Red Dancers! Tug-of-War, a Dodgeball Tournament, and the inflatable obstacle course will follow.
The Homecoming Bonfire will begin at 9:00 p.m. The action-packed pep rally will include appearances by the Ball State Cheerleaders and Coach Brady Hoke. Coronation of the 2008 Faculty/Staff Royalty candidates will take place at this time with a relaxed evening of games, a dunk tank, and a DJ to follow.
