Don't have enough time or space to decorate a float?  Your organization can rent a golf cart to ride in the parade.  It's easy!  Arrive at the parade site the morning of the parade, decorate your cart, show your Cardinal spirit in the parade, remove decorations, and you are done!

If your organization is pressed for time or space, but still want to get involved, take advantage of this opportunity to show off your organization in front of hundreds of people!

Parade Golf Cart Rules & Regulations:

• There is a $40 entry fee for golf cart units.  Fee must be turned in with the entry forms at the Art & Journalism Building Events Registration Table on Thursday, September 11, 2008 (campus entries), by 4:00 p.m.  Community entries are due at the Alumni Association office by Friday, September 12.  No entries will be added to the line-up after September 12, in order to mail out appropriate forms to each group.
• Please make check(s) payable to: Homecoming Steering Committee
• Units consist of no more than one driver and a maximum of ten walkers. Decorating materials must not exceed $200 and may consist of anything not damageable to the cart.  All participants must sign a release of liability form the morning of the parade.
• Arrive at 7:00 a.m. at the parade line-up site at the Muncie Central High School.  Major decorations may be assembled beforehand (see measurements in diagram).  The parade will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Remove all decorations at the end of the parade route and return the cart and keys at the drop off location (the parking lot by the shuttle turn-around & tennis courts) after the parade ends. 
• Please arrange to be dropped off at the parade site or ride on the float/vehicle you plan to drive in the parade. There will be no additional space for parking vehicles not used in the parade.
