Greet President Jo Ann Gora at Bracken House. Park at the Alumni Center and catch our shuttle to the president's home beginning at 5:45 p.m. The shuttle will bring the first group back and again leave the circle drive at the Alumni Center around 6:30 p.m.
*Welcome Reception--7:00-10:00 p.m.

Quarter-pound hot dogs and veggie burgers, vegetable trays, baked beans, potato salad, sliced tomatoes and onion tray, curly potato chips, assorted butterscotch and chocolate brownie triangles, iced tea or lemonade in cans, iced water.

Our new winery is Ferrin's Fruit Winery from Carmel, specializing in delicious fruit flavored wines. We will sample from 18 different flavors. A minimum of 25 persons signed up by July 27 is needed to conduct this optional event.

Join us as we honor outstanding alumni Sandra Chapman, '86, Paul Kasambira, MA76EdD80, and Patzetta Trice, '74. Our keynote address will be provided by Connie Bentley McGhee, '69. Chapman is an investigative reporter for WTHR-TV, Indianapolis, and is recognized on the Ball State Department of Telecommunications "Wall of Fame." Kasambira is a professor of education at Bradley University, Peoria, IL, where he was named Professor of the Semester twice in the past five years. Trice recently was appointed vice president of marketing and communications for BAA, a European-based company in Indianapolis, and was named the 2005 Madam C.J. Walker Outstanding Woman of the Year.
Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and includes Chicken Cordon Bleu, roasted and red Yukon gold potatoes, roasted root vegetables, a mixed greens salad with pears, walnuts, and Asiago cheese, rolls, sugar cream baked apples.
This is an adult event, and includes the dance from 9:00 p.m. to midnight. We ask that you attend the dinner if you wish to attend the Steppin' dance, and we request that white attire be worn (if possible). Indianapolis DG Thomas J Griffin will provide a variety of music to please all ages.

Tomato and orange juices, diced fruit salad, scrambled eggs with toppings, (cheese, black olives, sliced mushrooms, Tabasco sauce), ham, hash brown oven potatoes, blueberry and cranberry nut muffins, coffee, tea, milk.
A commemorative photo CD, with reunion pictures taken by alumnus photographer Michael White, will be available for purchase at the Alumni Center breakfast on Sunday morning. The cost is $6, with one dollar of the fee earmarked for a BSU Scholarship Fund (not included in the package price).

Reunion logo t-shirts will be available.
Black or white shirts are available and must be pre-ordered. Be sure to tell us if you prefer a black or white t-shirt and indicate the size needed when you call us to make your reunion reservations.

Parking and Location
Reunion activities are conveniently scheduled in the Alumni Center, adjacent to the Football Stadium at 2800 West Bethel Avenue. Free parking is available in the Alumni Center lot, just north of the building.
Lodging
If you are planning to attend the reunion, please use your credit card now and reserve a room at one of three locations below. There are two huge events going on in Muncie the same weekend as your reunion, and we want to be certain that you have the hotel accommodations that you desire.
To get the reduced rates we have requested, please request a "Black Alumni Reunion" room blocked by the Alumni Association. The rates do not include tax or any incidental charges you might incur.
Our hospitality suite will be at Lees Inn, 3302 North Everbrook Drive. Call 765-282-7557 for reservations, which are $55 per night.
If you prefer, we have a small number of rooms blocked at Fairfield Inn, 4011 W. Bethel for $55 per night. Call 765-282-6666.
We have also blocked several rooms at Signature Inn, 3400 N. Chadam Lane for $89 a night. Call 765-284-4200.
Each of these hotels is located within 7 minutes of the Alumni Center and right off Hwy 332 (West McGalliard).
The deadline for special rates is July 5--do not delay, or a room might not be available.
