Join us as we recognize Dr. Joseph Scagnoli's leadership for 22 years as director of bands at Ball State University!  Dr. Scagnoli will be completing his career as director of bands and associate director of the School of Music during the summer of 2006.

The band reunion will begin with lunch on Saturday, November 19, at the Ball State Alumni Center at 11:00 a.m.  As we join other alumni for the pre-game buffet, please look for seating designated "Alumni Band Reunion."  A group photo will be taken at 11:45 a.m.

Next we will attend the Cardinal football game versus MAC rival Central Michigan, with kick-off at 12:00 noon, and proudly hear "The Pride of Mid-America" perform at pre-game and half-time.

We have a really special event at 4:30 p.m. for your enjoyment: Dr. Scagnoli will direct a concert performed by alumni at Sursa Performance Hall.  Larry McWilliams, artist trumpet teacher ad director of the Ball State Jazz Studies Program, will be our special guest soloist.  A reception for attendees will conclude the event.

Reservation deadline for this event is Friday, November 11, 2005.  If you would like to make a reservation or need additional information, please contact the Alumni Association.  Cost for the outing (which includes lunch, parking pass, game ticket, and group photo) is $24 per person.  There is no charge to attend the concert only, but reservations are requested.
