Absolunacy, Ball State's Premier Comedy Troupe, will celebrate its 15th anniversary September 15-16, 2006. You are invited to participate in a cash bar reception at 6:00 p.m. and Italian buffet dinner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the Alumni Center. "Abso" alumni performances at Pruis Hall will begin Saturday at 8:00 p.m. with warm-ups beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Friday's buffet is $17.00 per person and includes: garden tossed salad and toppings, lasagna, penne pasta, Italian meat sauce, alfredo sauce, marinara sauce, roasted fresh vegetables, bread sticks, cookies, tea, coffee, and soft drinks. A cash bar is also available.
Saturday's festivities begin with "Abso" performance warm-ups at 6:00 p.m. at Pruis Hall. Alumni performances will begin at 8:00 p.m. Admission to the show is free. Contact your friends and spread the word!
Parking and Location
Friday's reception and dinner are scheduled in the Alumni Center, west of the football stadium, at Bethel and Tillotson avenues. Free parking is available in the Alumni Center lot, just north of the building. The Saturday warm-ups and performance are at Pruis Hall.
Lodging
We have blocked a number of rooms at Signature Inn, 3400 N. Chadam Lane, (765) 284-4200, just five minutes northwest of the Alumni center. When you make your hotel reservation, inform Signature Inn that you are requesting an Absolunacy alumni reunion room, smoking or non-smoking. We have arranged a special rate of $57 per night, which includes breakfast there. Blocked room reservations are due by August 18!
