Alumni Spotlight - Dionne Moore, '93MA00
Dionne Moore earned a bachelor of science degree in 1993 in elementary education and a master of arts degree in 2000 in student affairs administration in higher education from Ball State University. She is currently the Staff Optometrist at a Lorain Community Based Outpatient Clinic for veterans in Lorain, Ohio. FULL STORY

Ball State Alumnus Wayne Leonard, Becoming a Chief Inspiration Officer
Employees want to know they're making a difference in people's lives, says Entergy's CEO. Katrina gave his troops a chance to shine. Wayne Leonard is the CEO of Entergy (ETR), America's third largest electric-utility company, which serves Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Job Fairs and Career Listings
The Career Alumni Network, a networking service for those in need of career direction, is available online. Fall Career Fair is scheduled for September 13, 2006 at Worthen Arena. Employers and graduate school representatives will be on campus to discuss employment, internships, and graduate programs with Ball State students. Cardinal ViewJobs lists thousands of employment opportunities, including full-time professional jobs for experienced alumni. Baseball set for NCAA appearance
Ball State enters the NCAA Regional as a No. 4 seed coming off its first MAC Tournament championship. The Cardinals open the double-elimination regional Friday at 7 p.m. against Kentucky at the Wildcats’ Cliff Hagan Stadium. The other first round contest in Lexington matches No. 2 seed College of Charleston against No. 3 seed Notre Dame. FULL STORY

Men's basketball adds four recruits
Ahmaad Cook (Inglewood, Calif./Westchester H.S.), Steve Horton (Cincinnati, Ohio/Western Hills H.S.), Rashuan McLemore (Richmond, Va./Mt. Zion Christian Academy) and Jarelle Redden (Cincinnati, Ohio/Western Hills H.S.), have each signed National Letters of Intent to attend Ball State University and compete for the men’s basketball program, according to first-year head coach Ronny Thompson. Baseball wins MAC championship, Dygert earns tourney MVP honors
Ball State defeated Kent State 7-4 Saturday to win the Mid-American Conference Tournament and advance to next weekend's NCAA Regional. The Cardinals (37-20) defeated the Golden Flashes for the second consecutive day on their way to winning their first tournament title in school history. FULL STORY
