Alumni Spotlight - Christopher Clark, '01MS02 (2/1/2006)
Chris Clark earned a bachelor's degree in marketing in 2001 and a master's degree in information and communication sciences in 2002 from Ball State University. Upon graduation, Chris worked for Rutter Communications from 2002-2003 as a Media Planner. In 2003, he became a Marketing Analyst for Independent Stationers Group in Indianapolis. He recently accepted the position of Senior Market Research Analyst for Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Chris was very active at Ball State as a student. He was a member of Theta Chi fraternity, Student Alumni Relations Team (St.A.R.T.), Residence Hall Association, Student Government Association, and the Homecoming Steering Committee. He was the Homecoming Steering Committee General Chairman in 2000.
Chris says that he is very proud of his education from Ball State. "I left BSU with not only two strong degrees, but friendships and connections that I know I'll have for the rest of my life." Chris feels that his education has given him an edge in many ways. "The fundamentals in marketing research that I learned from the business school combined with the technical experience I gained through my time in CICS has really allowed me to grow and move forward quickly through my career."
Since moving to Virginia, Chris does not get back to Ball State as much as he would like. He plans to continue his tradition of returning for Homecoming each year.
