President Mary Buckley called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. and asked for any corrections or additions to the minutes of the February 19, 2008 Nursing Alumni Society board of directors meeting.  Jan Noel made a motion to approve the minutes as presented and they were approved by voice vote.

Final Arrangements - Nursing Alumni Banquet – Mary Buckley will order 10 corsages and bring them to the banquet, Saturday, April 26.  Jan Noel, Mary Buckley and Doreen Johnson will help Julie Johnson at the registration table.  Mary has agreed to escort Sue Price, Outstanding Nursing Alumni Award recipient, to her table when she arrives.  Ernie Krug will organize the tour.

Final Arrangements – May/July Pinning Ceremonies – The ceremony is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at Emens.  Mary will order more scissors for the July ceremony.  Discussion was held on when to meet with the classes and how far in advance. It was recommended that the classes should be met with separately.  Possibly meet with them earlier in the year to discuss meeting times and fundraising ideas.  Kathy Hutson will emcee the July ceremony.

2008 – 2009 Nursing Alumni Board Slate – The board slate is as follows:

President – Kathy Hutson
Vice-President – Ruth Ann Tolle
Secretary – Jan Noel
Past President – Mary Buckley

Kathy Hutson has asked to step-down from her Alumni Council position and the Community Project.  Discussion will be held among the board during the next meeting.

Alumni Council/Alumni Association – Ernie attended the Education Redefined Tour in Atlanta, chaperoning five students.  The Alumni Council will be meeting April 25 and 26^th.  The Alumni Association is gearing up for many upcoming summer activities.
