Recently one was held in Anderson with a couple Alumni Council members attending. Sue encouraged members of FCS to attend one if hosted in the area that members reside.
She also noted that Ben Hancock, vice president of University Advancement, addressed the Council, and reported that Ball State is in the feasibility part of a capital campaign that will be launched in 2008. BSU has already received $10 million for this campaign.
Mark Ervin reported that the Ball State University Foundation had an outstanding first quarter with a 15.1% return on investments, according to Hammond Associates, the investment consultant. They had set a goal for 17.2% and are modifying the portfolio with the hope of improving the rate of return.

Alumni parents and grandparents of newborn through 12 months babies may join. For a $15 fee, members receive a $10 custodial account in the child's name at the Credit Union, a BSU bib and a magnetic photo frame. The program is advertised in the Ball State Alumnus magazine and on the BSUAA webpage.
