Panel Discussion
Ben suggested that the topic for Saturday morning's roundtable be language - specifically, offensive language and why it is used. Why is it in our language? Keith suggested the unanimously approved title, "The Miseducation of Inappropriate Language." It was decided that Mike would moderate unless one or two of the award winners with media/moderating experience would like to do so. Phil will follow up with any award winners who make plans to attend. The panel discussion will be in the pre-event area.
Vendors
Charmaine is contacting vendors who sell art, fashions, jewelry, glamour products, Greek merchandise and more for the Vendor Exhibits. Vendors will set up in the Conservatory at 9:00 a.m. and will be open to reunion participants from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Panelist experiences come from education, telecommunications, fashion merchandising, business, urban planning, technology and more.
Martini Tasting
Ben requested that the board consider a martini tasting event on Saturday afternoon so that the day had more entertainment options. Due to the flyer deadline and the quickly approaching reunion date, the motion was voted down.

Dori will secure Award of Achievement recipient Lynda Van Davis as the keynote speaker.
Hospitality Room
The Hospitality Room is a meeting room on the first floor of the Holiday Inn Express. It will open on Friday and Saturday after each evening's festivities have ended.

He said that he has between $13,000-$17,000 in pledges of the $25,000 earmarked to endow the scholarship. He encourages the board to give to this effort as well. Fred requested that Ben write a formal letter to request money for tax purposes. Pam requested that it be sent to the whole board. Ben will do so after he speaks with Chip Jaggers in University Development.
