Ice Outing – Tom Andrews reported that 39 alumni and friends attended this year.  The pre-game outing was hosted in the VIP room inside the Pepsi Coliseum.  Tom recommended that we continue the outing and try for a Saturday date. He offered to chair the event next year.

Casino Night – Russ Lawrence reported 95 alumni and friends attended the outing at Jillian's.  We were in a new downstairs location that was a bit crowded and warm.  Russ will chair the event again and will investigate other locations for next year's event.

Theatre Outing – Brenda Cox reported 24 reservations for the reception and performance of The Piano Lesson at the Indiana Repertory Theatre.  Brenda agreed to chair the outing again next year. 

Golf and Dinner Outing – Bob Browning has confirmed arrangements for the Wednesday, June 10 outing at Pebble Brook Golf Club in Noblesville.  We will use the south course this year.  Julie Bradshaw will be our   beverage cart driver.

Continuing Professional Educational Seminar for Accountants – Kevin Ervin will chair the event.  Arrangements are complete for the Wednesday, June 10 seminar, which will be at Lutz's Restaurant in Noblesville. 

Indians Picnic and Baseball Outing – Tom Nowak reported that plans are complete for the outing, Friday, June 6, at Victory Field.  Tom will take reservations this year.

Symphony on the Prairie – Julie Bradshaw will chair the event and reported that Flash Cadillac will not perform this year.  The entertainment will be Simply Sinatra, Saturday, July 12.  Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults and $9.00 for children. The board will  host a reception beginning at 7:00 p.m., before the 8:00 p.m. show. 

Horse Racing Outing – Jason Blythe will chair Thoroughbred Racing at Hoosier Park in Anderson .  The outing will be Saturday, September 13.

Wine and Cocktail Tasting - Steph Meyers will chair the event scheduled for Thursday, July 24, at the Omni Hotel.  Josh Mason offered to help with the outing.

State Fair Event with CAP – The College of Architecture and Planning would like to partner with the Indianapolis Chapter for an event during the State Fair.  Plans are for an event at the College's "Back Yard event" in the Marsh building.  Board members volunteers include: Jason Blythe, Brenda Cox, Russ Lawrence, Kara Traut and Julie Bradshaw.

Summer Outing Flyer -  All details for the summer outing events must be to the Alumni Office by Friday, April 4. 

New Outing – Josh Mason offered several ideas for new events.  The board agreed to sponsor a Friday Night at the Movies at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.  The proposed date is Friday June 27 and the show is Goonies.  Josh will make arrangements for the event.  Invitations will be by email and other new media.

Next Meeting – The next board meeting will be Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.  Brenda Cox will select the location.
