Directors Present – Tom Andrews, Jason Blythe, Julie Bradshaw, Brenda Cox, Chad Ellis, Mark Hess, Ernie Krug, Russ Lawrence, Steph Meyers, Tom Nowak, Mike Shumaker, Kara Traut and John Waite

New Member – Mike Shumaker was introduced as a new member.

Ice Outing – Tom Andrews reported that 34 alumni and friends attended this year. The pre-game outing was held at the Ice House in the VIP room inside the Pepsi Coliseum. Tom recommended that we continue the outing and offered to chair the event next year.

Casino Night – Outing chair Steph Meyers reported 100 alumni and friends attended the Saturday, February 4 outing at Jillian's. The board recommended we return to Jillian's and Russ Lawrence will chair the event in 2007.

Theatre Outing – Eighty alumni and friends attended the sold-out STOMP theatre event. Brenda Cox chaired the event and commented that more families attended this year. She reported that again this year several attendees said this was their first alumni event. The board agreed to continue the Theatre outing and Brenda will chair the outing next year.

Admissions Receptions – The Chapter assisted with two admissions receptions in February. The receptions were well-attended by area high school seniors and their families.

Golf and Dinner Outing – Bob Browning has confirmed arrangements for the Wednesday, June 21 outing at Pebble Brook Golf Club in Noblesville. Mark Hess and Russ Lawrence will assist Bob to make sure we have an excellent turn out. Julie Bradshaw will help with the beverage cart.

Continuing Professional Educational Seminar for Accountants – Kevin Ervin will chair the event again this year. Arrangements are complete for the Wednesday, June 21 seminar, which will be held at Lutz's Restaurant in Noblesville.

Indians Picnic and Baseball Outing – John Waite and Tom Nowak reported that plans are complete for the outing on Friday, June 2, at Victory Field. Fireworks are the special event for the evening. Tom will take reservations this year.

Symphony on the Prairie – Julie Bradshaw will chair the event and make arrangements for a Saturday, August 26 outing featuring Flash Cadillac. The board will again host a reception beginning at 7:00 p.m., before the 8:00 p.m. show.

Horse Racing Outing – Jason Blythe will chair Thoroughbred Racing at Hoosier Park in Anderson this year. The preferred date in Sunday, September 11, 2006

New Outing – The board agreed to host a Wine and Beer Tasting outing. Steph Meyers will chair the event. Plans are to have the outing in Downtown Indianapolis on Thursday, August 10 or 17 with admission at $20.00 per person.

Next Meeting – The next board meeting will be Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at Dookz Sports Grill, 3855 East 96th street in Indianapolis.
