Indianapolis Meeting Minutes, October 20, 2004

Members Present: Tom Andrews, Brenda Cox, Chad Ellis, Mark Hess, Ernie Krug, Russ Lawrence, Steph Meyers, and Deb Petro.

Symphony on the Prairie – The outing was well attended and included members of the Teachers College Alumni Association board. Julie Bradshaw will chair the outing again next year.

Hoosier Park – Steph Meyers reported that attendance at the outing continues to grow when it is not scheduled against a home Colts game. Steph agreed to chair the outing again next year.

Indiana Ice – Tom Andrews has finalized plans for the January 15, 2005 outing at the Pepsi Coliseum. The pre-event outing will be held in the VIP room this year. The pre-game begins at 6:00 p.m. and the game begins at 7:00 p.m.

Basketball Watch Party – Chad Ellis will chair the outing tentatively schedule for Saturday, February 12, 2005. The game between Ball State and Buffalo begins at noon. A location will be announced later.

Golf and Dinner – Bob Browning has confirmed plans for the Golf and Dinner Outing scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Pebble Brook Golf Club in Noblesville.

CPE Seminar – Kevin Ervin has confirmed plans for the Seminar for Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Lutz's Steakhouse in Noblesville. Jim Schmutte will return as presenter.

Theatre Outing – Brenda Cox and Steph Meyers have finalized plans for a Theatre Outing scheduled for Saturday, January 22, 2005. A reception will be held at the Rathskeller beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the Producers show at the Murat beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Board Positions – Tom Andrews, Bob Browning, Brenda Cox, Kevin Ervin, Julie Griffith, Mark Hess and Dick Isenhour have agreed to new two-year terms. Jason Blythe, '93, has agreed to join the board. Jason was nominated by Russ Lawrence.

Next Board Meeting – The next meeting will be Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at Champions. Steph Meyers will make arrangements.
