If your last name starts with MA-O, then it is time to purchase your Ball State University special recognition plate. * It's easy to get and easy to renew! Complete the Cardinal Pride license plate application online; or call 765-285-1080 or toll free 1-888-I-GO-4-BSU. After the application has been completed and the payment of $25 has been secured, the application will be validated and mailed to you. Then, simply take or mail the application to your local license branch, along with other registration paperwork, to obtain your Cardinal Pride license plate.

The Ball State University Alumni Association, along with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, annually issues Cardinal Pride license plates to any interested alumni, students, parents of students, and friends of the university. The purchase of each BSU plate supports BSUAA programs and services for alumni, and also assists scholarship efforts for current and prospective Ball State students.

When Should I Renew My Registration?

Some Indiana motorists' registrations expire on the fifteenth day of their renewal month, while others expire at the month's end. Please refer to the registration schedule listed below to determine your registration renewal date. Registration renewal dates are based on the first two letters of the vehicle owner's last name.
