Homecoming 2007 Results (11/1/2007)

The Alumni Association hosted 625 alumni and friends at the Pre-game Rally at the Alumni Center on Homecoming Day, Oct. 13. Included in the Homecoming week festivities were many winners. Tuesday's Student Scholarship Talent Search featured the following category winners:
Overall Winner – Michael Humphrey
Acoustic Winner – Chase Overbeeke
Male Vocal – Andrew Shade
Female Vocal – Kristen Calvin
Instrumental – Ryan Cox
Original Arrangement – Iaga
Dance – Michael Humphrey
Musical Group/Duet – Tina Herbert & Cameron Shepherd
Freestyle – Noel Kunz

At Thursday's Air Jam, Studebaker East took home the Overall Winner trophy. They also won in the Residence Halls category. The independent division winners were University Singers, while Alpha Chi Omega & FIJI won in the Greek division. BSU Elite won the Crowd Favorite award.

The Overall Ashley Award, which recognizes BSU organizations for their participation throughout Homecoming, was given to the University Singers. Schmidt/Wilson won in the Residence Halls Division, while Kappa Delta took home the award in the Greek division.

The 2007 Homecoming king and queen were also crowned during Homecoming week. Junior Kyle Johnson, sponsored by Student Voluntary Services, was named king, while sophomore Lyndsay Adams, sponsored by Botsford/Swinford Hall, was crowned this year's Homecoming queen.
