MUNCIE, Ind. -- Amber Williams has earned a spot on the 2007 NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track and Field All-America Team, as announced by the U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
In Division I track and field, the top eight finishers in each event at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, including relays, are eligible for All-America status.
In the individual events, if one or more of the top eight finishers are of another nationality, eight American-born athletes are selected in addition to any foreign-born All- Americans.
Ninety-one schools are represented on the 2007 NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor All-America Team
Williams ran 13.35 in the first round of the 100-meter hurdles at the NCAA Championships. She was the 18th qualifier for the semi-finals out of 28 entrants in the event.
