Upon graduation from Ball State, Dana worked for a large school system in Indiana as an artist and ran a couple of marathons in his spare time. After moving to Arizona, Dana worked for a design firm, hiked the Grand Canyon, and did some traveling before starting his own business.
When asked about his feelings toward his time at Ball State, Dana says "Ball State has always, and will always, hold a very special place in my heart. I was born in Gary, but grew up, emotionally, at BSU. My degree was a stepping stone into the world, and my further life education. While there I worked hard and played hard, and carry those lessons with me today."
Dana and Suzanne returned to campus for a visit in 2000, but haven't had the opportunity to come back since that time. Dana says he will always hold fond memories of BSU. "The relationships I formed at BSU stay with me, even though I've lost track of many of my friends."
