Awards are made to Ball State University Teachers College alumni who are active in education, psychology, or other human services and who have made significant contributions to teaching, administration, counseling, scholarship, or service. Teachers College alumni awards are made by the Board of Directors of the Teachers College Alumni Association. To be eligible, a person must hold either an undergraduate or graduate degree from Teachers College. Anyone may nominate a candidate for this award and should contact the Alumni Association to do so.
Applications are accepted throughout the year and will remain in consideration for three years. To be considered for the current year, applications should be received by the first Friday in April.
Innovative Education GrantBall State Teachers College Alumni Association annually awards grant money to Teachers College graduates who have an innovative idea they would like to use in a school, classroom, or other are related to education. If you would like to submit for funding, you must complete an application form and return it to the Alumni Association.
To be considered for the current year, applications should be received by the first Friday in April. Grant applicants will be notified by the last Friday in July of the decision regarding their proposals.
