Former Ball State baseball standout Brad Snyder was called up to the major league Cleveland Indians last week and placed on the team's 40-man roster.
Snyder spent the 2006 season with the Double-A Akron Aeros, where he hit .270 with 18 home runs, 72 RBI and 20 stolen bases.
The outfielder helped Akron to the Eastern League finals, where the Aeros fell to the Portland Sea Dogs in five games. Four days later, Snyder was placed on the Indians' 40-man roster. More Information
