The Ball State University Alumni Association is pleased to announce two new staff members.  Michelle Johnson has accepted the position of Director of Alumni Special Events and Steven Fulton has accepted the position of Director of New Media.

Johnson received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in 2001 and is currently working on a Master of Arts degree in Sport Administration.  Her career experience includes serving as an event coordinator at the United Center in Chicago, a staff assistant for championships at the NCAA in Indianapolis, and most recently as Assistant Director of Athletics Communication and Marketing at Ball State University.   Her responsibilities at the Alumni Association will include serving as the advisor to the Homecoming Steering Committee, Greek letter alumni communities, and serving as alumni outreach director in various Indiana counties and assigned states.  Johnson will also act as liaison with other assigned alumni societies. 

Fulton received an Associate of Science degree in commercial art and design multimedia from Vincennes University and a Bachelor of Science degree in commercial art and design from the University of Indianapolis in 2002.  Prior to coming to Ball State, Fulton has been a graphic designer for Gilchrist & Soames, graphic and web designer for Virtual Financial Services, and most recently Director of Information Technology at Coles Public Relations in Indianapolis.   His responsibilities at the Alumni Association will include directing new media and electronic communication with alumni, administering alumni activities and programs for the university, and serving as the director of alumni career services.   Fulton will also act as administrative alumni liaison for corporate relations, University Computing Services, Advancement Services, and the Alumni Council technology committee.
