Ball State senior men's tennis player Joe Epkey (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove H.S.) recently captured the singles title at the Five Seasons Indiana State Championships in Indianapolis, Ind. With the win, Epkey earns a wildcard into the qualifying round of the RCA Tennis Championships, which are set to begin July 15 in Indianapolis. Epkey defeated fellow teammate Aaron Phillips (Effingham, Ill./Saint Anthony H.S.) 6-4, 6-3 in the championship match of the Five Seasons event.
