Area students receive Ed's Warehouse scholarships (9/30/2005)
Fourteen Ball State students have received Ed's Warehouse scholarships for the 2005-06 academic year.

A scholarship fund was established with the Ball State University Foundation in 2000 to provide financial assistance for outstanding students who reside in Delaware and surrounding counties, and dependents of former employees of Ed's Warehouse, which closed earlier this year.

Students may renew their scholarships up to a maximum of eight semesters, provided they maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

The scholarships are administered by the Ball State Foundation and Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Students must apply for the scholarships through the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

Students whose scholarships were renewed for this year are:

  • Mary Anderson-Clark, daughter of Johnnie and Idella Clark, Muncie
  • Megan Berry, daughter of Samuel and Nancy Berry, Hartford City
  • Aaron Clark, son of Richard and Karen Clark, Muncie
  • Cortney Hughes, daughter of Robert Hughes, Muncie, and Euvena Hughes, Selma
  • Curita Westbrook, daughter of Curtis and Allison Westbrook, Muncie
  • Heidi White, daughter of James and Teresa White, Muncie
  • Kaylee Winningham, daughter of Connie Sheppard, Muncie
  • Christopher Allen, son of Dan Allen, Yorktown, and Diane Allen, Anderson
  • Adrienne Campbell, daughter of Ned and Robin Campbell, Muncie
  • Sean Coats, son of James and Barbara Coats, Selma
  • Ty Lynch, son of Toni Price, Muncie
  • Ashley Moore, daughter of Dea Moore, Muncie
  • Scott New, son of Monty and Christina New, Alexandria

Ashley Schneider, daughter of Jill Schneider of Farmland, is a first-time recipient.
