SENIOR CONGRATS PARTY! FRIDAY, MAY 2, 2008 FROM 4-7 P.M.

Sign up sheets were passed around for hours to work the day of the party (i.e. set-up/decorations, registration, clean-up, etc.)   Also, we will need everyone's help in working the ticket distribution table up in the office – it will be especially busy the week of the party!  Please stop by whenever you have free time – you can bring study materials if it's not busy!!

Decorations/Entertainment: We will contact Mr. Superent to check on the helium shortage status – that will decide whether we decorate with helium balloons or not!   We need volunteers to clean up the TIS window on the day of the party. 

Food/Drink: We need to call in our final count to UBC, and follow up with all of our vendors.

Publicity: Allison checked with the manager at TIS and got permission for us to decorate (even though they are in the middle of renovations).   While there, we need to check on their stock of flyers that they are handing out with caps and gowns. We will need to follow-up on the fly swatter sign – Brian volunteered to take the sign over there and hang it up on Monday the 28^th.  We can also bring some flyers around to local businesses for them to leave out.

Sponsors/Set-Up: Emily C. will work on sponsor thank you notes during her office hour.   If we decide to send the thank you notes after the party, we can include the link to the online pictures.  Brian agreed to have the sponsors sign made and printed at the library.

SPRING SURVIVAL KITS

We currently have 125 orders!   The deadline for orders is Thursday, April 17.  We plan to shop at Sam's Club in Indianapolis on Tuesday, April 22 for all of the food contents.  We will need a lot of help with deliveries.  We need to deliver all of the kits between April 23-25!

There will be a comedy night in Pruis Hall at 9:00 p.m. Admission is $3 at the door – Reflex comedy troupe will be performing, along with other stand-up acts.
