Unexcused: Ryan Dumoulin, Brad Luetje, Joel Sheets, Lindsey Thompson
We met at Bob Evans for a breakfast meeting.
Homecoming Wrap-Up
The group discussed the Homecoming week activities and what we participated in. Emily and Paul encouraged the group to participate in the Parade next year because they had a lot of fun. Thank you to everyone who participated and especially to Mary-Phillips, Ebony, Erica, Emily G., and Mariela for working the pre-game luncheon at the Alumni Center!!
Office Hours
During your next office hour, please remind Kate to take your picture if you do not have one online already (or is you would like a new one!). A reminder that you can work on our blog during office hours! Homecoming is a great topic to cover! Please also make comments on others' posts. We will also have a Survival Kit mailing to get ready to send out.
Survival Kits!
The schedule for kits this semester is: Orders due on Thursday, November 29, we will assemble the kits at our December 5 meeting, and deliver from December 5-7 and 10-12.
As far as advertising, we have placed an ad in our Alumnus magazine for the November issue, placed a notice in the BSUAA e-newsletter, updated our web site and online order form, and prepared a mailing to those who have ordered a kit in the past and a campus mailing. We will plan to send mass e-mails to students, faculty/staff, and alumni. The group also suggested creating a Facebook flyer and advertising in the Daily News (Days Ahead = free). The biggest way to advertise is word of mouth!!!
We also discussed what we would like to include in the buckets this semester. Some of the items included: stress balls, hot chocolate or tea, ramen noodles, Vitamin C/Hall's Defense, Kleenex packs, and Charlie Cardinal tattoos. No desicion was made on whether to include a study guide or "what to do with this bucket" sheet.
Past Activity Reports
Kelsey, Brian, and Mariela worked the Ball State vs. Central Michigan Pre-Game Football Rally on October 6. They had a good time working the registration table, ticket counter, and tattoo station. Thanks for your help!
