RECRUITMENT
The committee reviewed and discussed all of the interviews held on Monday and Tuesday. The committee then voted for the 8 new members we decided to select. Congratulations to our new members:

HOMECOMING CALENDAR/PARTICIPATION
All events were listed on the sign up sheet – if you are still interested in participating, please let Kate know ASAP. The group agreed to participate in the following Homecoming events: Opening Day Corn Hole Tournament (Brad & Ryan), Bed Race (Paul & Whitney – NEED 3 MORE PEOPLE!), Parade (Paul & Emily C. – NEED MORE PEOPLE! We've won our category in the parade for the last 3 years – let's keep that tradition going!!!) We decided as a group that we would switch from a car/walking unit in the parade to a golf cart unit – since we do not have a lot of people participating. A reminder to Meg and Mariela that our banner is due Monday, October 1 by 4 p.m. at the Alumni Association!
We will really need some help at the registration table at the pre-game luncheon on Homecoming Day – we have about 700+ guests!! Let Kate know if you are interested!

We really encourage your participation in as many events throughout the week as possible – St.A.R.T. and Homecoming are both BSUAA sponsored student organizations and we need to support one another!
OFFICE HOURS
Office hours will not be held next week, since we have a meeting instead. They will be OPTIONAL the following week, since it is Homecoming week – please attend Homecoming activities instead – you will get bonus points plus help St.A.R.T. get Ashley Award spirit points!
PAST ACTIVITY REPORT
Greater Indianapolis Area Hoosier Park Outing 9/15: Ryan and Brad attended this outing and helped with the event. They had a good time.

Bonus Points update! The St.A.R.T. Member of the Month will be announced at the next meeting!
St.A.R.T. Blogging – You are encouraged to post on our blog during your office hours! If you do not want to post your own, please comment on the existing blogs to encourage more interaction! Kate will post the instructions near all available student computers in the office.
FUN Meeting – the group decided to do two fun events this semester. The first will be a breakfast meeting at Bob Evans on October 17 at 7:30 a.m. Ryan and Brad also agreed to have a cookout at their house – date TBA.
