RECRUITMENT

The application deadline is 9/21! Kate will send an e-mail to all students reminding them of this deadline. Interviews will be held on 9/24 & 9/25.  Monday's interviews will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Alumni Center conference room 3 and Tuesday's interviews will go from 9 a.m. through 12:00 noon in conference room 1. Kate will send out a sign-up sheet for volunteers to sit in on interviews once she receives the completed applications.

We will discuss and select new members at our 9/26 meeting and have a regular meeting with the new members the following week on 10/3.  Spread the word to friends who are interested!

HOMECOMING CALENDAR/PARTICIPATION

Remember to vote for Meg & Paul for royalty next week!  You can vote online at www.bsu.edu/votebsu from Monday, September 17 at 8:00 a.m. through Friday, September 21 at 4:00 p.m.

Kate will stalk you with emails to sign up for homecoming activities!  The group agreed to participate in the following Homecoming events: Opening Day Corn Hole Tournament (Brad & Ryan), Banner Decorating Contest (Meg & Mariela), Bed Race (Paul & Whitney – NEED 3 MORE PEOPLE!), Parade (Paul & Emily C. – NEED MORE PEOPLE! We've won our category in the parade for the last 3 years – let's keep that tradition going!!!)

Don't forget about your office hours!  We do not have a whole lot going on just yet, but remember that the office hours are mandatory (even is Kate send you home early! J)

PAST ACTIVITY REPORTS

• Ball State vs. Miami Pre-Game Rally 8/30 (Emily G., Mary-Phillips, and Paul) – Paul talked about working the rally and explained what their duties were (and mentioned the great ice cream!)
• Homecoming Information Meeting 9/5 (Jessi & Paul) – information was given on all Homecoming activities, including all entry forms.

Blogging – the blog has been set up on our web site.  Thanks to Ryan for our first post!!!  Instructions were sent out on how to post on the site.  You are all encouraged to contribute to this!  It's something to do during office hours.  Paul, Kelsey, and Ryan agreed to post a blog during their next office hours.
