Senior Congrats Party – May 4, 2007!

Please see sign-up sheets for ticket distribution – we will need you to come up to the office and sit at the front to hand out tickets for the party (seniors will not be able to get tickets at the party and have to pick them up at the office by May 4 at noon). It counts towards your office hours. The busiest days are Thursday, May 3 and Friday May 4 before noon.

Breakout Sessions and Reports:

Publicity – This committee is going to contact Pepsi about donating a sign we can use on the fly swatter on campus. Mariela reserved the fly swatter for the week of the party. Outfitter is going to do our shirts for $4 each (same price as last year). We ordered 500 charcoal gray t-shirts for the seniors and cardinal red shirts for us. They will fax Kate the final design when they complete it.

Food and Drink – The group priced cupcakes and found that Walmart had the best deal ($4.88/dozen).  This would end up being around $85 for 200 cupcakes. The group did not say for sure if we would go with the cupcakes this year. They are still waiting to hear back from UBC for the ice cream quote – Brian will follow-up with them again. Paul is having a hard times getting in touch with Myles at the MT Cup in regards to the smoothies, so he will keep trying.

Decorations and Entertainment – The Oriental Trading Company order has arrived. The only thing we need to get in the meantime are more beanbags for cornhole – and we need to find the other cornhole set!

Sponsors and Set-UpSPONSORS DUE APRIL 18th!!  Please get them to Kate ASAP – this can be a donation of any amount, merchandise, coupons, etc. If you do not turn in your sponsors, you will owe St.A.R.T. $10 for each sponsor not submitted.

Spring Survival Kits:  currently have 48 orders – spread the word!!

We will shop for goodies on Monday or Tuesday April 23 or 24. Please remember to sign up for delivery dates. The last few weeks of school are very busy for us between Survival Kits and Senior Congrats, so we need all the help we can get!  If you have any last minute suggestions for contents of the kits, please let Laura and/or Kate know before we shop!
