Homecoming Royalty Nominations!

Congratulations Meg Thornburg and Paul Sommer – our 2007 Homecoming Queen and King candidates for St.A.R.T.!  Just a reminder, these two will need to attend the mandatory info/royalty meeting on Wednesday, April 11 at 9:30 p.m. in the Alumni Center.

Senior Congrats Party – May, 4, 2007!!

Breakout Sessions and Reports – about 5-10 minutes

Publicity – the group decided on a final t-shirt design.  We will do a "vintage" faded logo on charcoal gray shirts for the seniors (big logo on the back, and BSU Alumni on the left front chest) for the seniors.  The St.A.R.T. shirts will be the same, except be printed on a "darker" red t-shirt with "BSU St.A.R.T.) on the left front chest. We all signed up for our t-shirt sizes.

Food and Drink – this group is going to price cupcakes during office hours. Brian already contacted UBC for an ice cream quote, so we are just waiting to hear back from them. Paul will contact MT Cup to see if they would like to donate their smoothie station again this year. The group voted on Long Islands and Margaritas and their pre-mixed drink selections. Kate will follow-up with Papa John's to do the pizza again this year.

Decorations and Entertainment – Alexis plans to stop by TIS to inquire about decorating the window. Apparently, TIS thought that we would need to erase the existing painted decorations from their window to decorate for SCP. Alexis will clarify that we will just work around the existing print. The group will also check with CBX Bookstore as an option to decorate/hand out flyers. Kate is planning to place the order with Oriental Trading Company this week.

Sponsors and Set-Up – SPONSORS DUE APRIL 18^th!!  If we want Koozies, we need to fins a sponsor, ASAP.  It is a possibility that we can use Liberty Mutual as a sponsor, since we use them for our alumni insurance needs. A reminder – if you do not turn in 2 sponsors, you will be required to pay $10 for each one not submitted… *Note, we do NOT want your money, but we do want fun stuff to give away!

Spring Survival Kits:  currently have 42 orders – spread the word!! 

We ordered more buckets last week, since we noticed we were running low. We plan to shop for food items Monday or Tuesday, April 23-24. Paul is going to check with his Red Bull contact about providing cans of Red Bull for the kits.

Thank you so much for volunteering your time! Melissa and Genevieve helped out with the Cardinal Job Fair on 2/28 in Worthen Arena, and Sarah, Lindsey, Erin M., and Drake were a huge help at the Teachers College Children's Museum outing in Indianapolis in 3/3.
