OFFICE HOURS
We are extra busy these next couple weeks!!! Please come to your office hours! We will be delivering Survival Kits Thursday and Friday, April 27-28, and we will be swamped with people picking up their tickets in the office May 1-5 (especially Thursday and Friday)!!!
SENIOR CONGRATS PARTY
Only ONE more meeting until the party!!! Everyone signed up for ticket distribution and assignments for the day of the party. If you did not do this, the sign up sheets will be on our bulletin board in the St.A.R.T. office.
Breakout Session/Reports:
Publicity: There is a list of places to hang fliers. Please take some during office hours to hang up around campus! The group talked about making a banner to hang in the conservatory the day of the event. Please get a list of supplies to Kate and decide who is making it and when. Jessica completed the Daily News Days Ahead request and hopefully an announcement will run the next two weeks.
Food: We decided to not have ice cream, since Mt Cup will be providing smoothies. We will order two large sheet cakes (one chocolate, one vanilla) from Wal-Mart the week prior to the party. They will be decorated in a Ball State theme. Also, Blondie's Cookies is donating an undetermined amount of cookies for us to put out. This committee will need to check in with all our food vendors to verify their attendance and make sure we are on their calendar.
Sponsors/Set-Up: Sponsors and/or cash needs to be collected ASAP. Kate sent out a lit of who still owed money and/or sponsors. Thanks to everyone who warked to get these in on time! Also, do not forget to write your "thank you" notes to your sponsors. There is a template saved on the office computer. UPD/tent/final contacts need to be verified. Also a large poster with the listings of all the sponsors needs to be made/displayed at the event.
Decorations/Entertainment: A list of "needs" and a supply list were made. The DJ contacted Drake to confirm that he received the playlist they sent. We will need to pick up balloons and a helium tank. We will need people to come early to decorate so we have enough time to blow up balloons, etc. It was decided that we would put give-away notices in balloons and people coupd pop them to win a prize. A general timeline and instructions for games still needs to be turned in. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to decorate and clean up the TIS window – let Kate know if you need any other supplies.
SPRING SURVIVAL KITS
34 have been sold thus far!!! Please keep spreading the word!! Shopping trip to Sam's Club will happen sometime next week. "Fun Ideas" are still being taken for bucket use. Kits will be assembled during our next meeting…get ready for the assembly line! J Don't forget to sign up for delivery times! This sign up sheet will also be posted in the office, if you did not get a chance to sign up yet.
