Welcome
Paul welcomed all of the new members and had everyone introduce themselves and say where they were going for Spring Break.

Office Hours
Spring Break office hours are optional.  Try and schedule future office hours with members of your sub-committee. New Members don't forget to find Kate the next time you are in the office so she can take your picture for the web site!

Sub-Committee Reports
Publicity:  Jessica went over T-shirt deigns.  The group as a whole could not decide which design we should use for the t-shirts, so Melissa agreed to design another one and Kate will get additional designs from Outfitters – we will vote via e-mail on a design within the next couple weeks. If you have other suggestions let Kate know. We discussed getting black t-shirts with red and white imprint on the front, but this will also depend on the design we choose. We submitted our shirt sizes as well.

The group also discussed whether or not we will be purchasing cups to give away at the party – we all decided to nix the cups and get more t-shirts instead. 

The postcard flyer and beverage tickets are being designed by the BSUAA Communications Staff right now.  They should go to the printer within the next week and be mailed in late March/early April. The publicity flyers for campus/TIS/faculty-staff and alumni leaders will need to be finalized with details during the next round of office hours so we can get them out. Table tents will also need to be completed for the Atrium. Kate will send out the mass e-mails in April.

Food and Drink:  The final dessert decisions are cookies and ice cream.  Papa Johns will be the pizza and for the drinks, Rum and Punch along with Long Islands will be served.

Sponsors/Set-Up:  The people of this committee handed out the contracts and a list of organizations to contact.  Start early and do not wait until the end of March to contact these organizations. Sponsors are due on or before our March 29 meeting so we can include the businesses in our advertising!

Jeff and Brian took care of the shuttle bus request, police officer/security, and tent rental during their office hours last week.

Entertainment/Decorations:  They are working on the contract from the DJ – we decided to go with Event One DJ's and Drake will contact him to make finals arrangements. Also, they are working on organizing the different games for the event. Games such as the limbo and hula hoop contests will be run by the DJ, volleyball and corn hole will be left out for people to play on their own, and St.A.R.T. will run the hula hop game.

Jeff, Brian, and Drake contacted Vertical Edge Entertainment to inquire about the mechanical surfboard, but since it costs $1000, we agreed that we would not be getting it for this year's party.

Spring Survival Kits
We will shop starting in April.  We will help assemble these kits at our April 26^th meeting.  Start spreading the word for our survival kits. We have started advertising so we should be getting some orders in soon (Alumnus Magazine, Alumni E-Newsletter, etc.)

Past Activity Reports
Alli went to the Science Central Outing and said it went really well. (Science Central is a children's science museum in Fort Wayne). They had about 100 participants, which was more than they expected.

Announcements/Other Business
Don't forget to update the contact information sheet and submit your web profile information, if you have not done so already.

If you are interested in student calling for St.A.R.T. we can earn $100 per night for our organization plus 10% of the pledges you receive. Calling will be held in the Alumni Center on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. through March 24 – please let Kate know if you would like to volunteer!

Jessica told us about Kappa Delta's ShamRock n Bowl.  Kate said if you wanted to participate, St.A.R.T. will pay the entrance fee.

Alexis told us about her Relay for Life T-shirts and her Pizza Cards from Papa Johns.  If you are interested in either contact her.

Team Lisec won the SGA election – yeah Michele!!!!

Also does anyone want to have a Finals Week stress release outing??? Last year, we went to Puerta's during finals week and it was fun to get together before the Senior Congrats Party.
