Recruitment

• John has the applications to submit information to Channel 55 in his mailbox in the office – we should do that ASAP for recruitment.  We need to submit DN Days Ahead for our application deadline.  Jen created flyers for around campus and we sent an information sheet about start to all student organizations.  Be sure to keep spreading the word about St.A.R.T. applications!
• Important Dates to remember:  Applications due 9/23; Interviews 9/26 & 9/27; New Member Selection Meeting 9/28; Regular Meeting the following week on 10/5
• Interview schedule-be prepared to come help!  Right now we have four applications, and the following people have signed up to help with interviews:  9/26 at 3:45 p.m. – Jen Berg & Michele Faroh; 9/27 at 1:45 p.m. – Jeff Warren; and 9/27 at 3:45 p.m. – Melissa Martin & Michele Faroh.

Fall Information Meeting

• Remember to vote for John & Meryn (and our other royalty candidates that are in St.A.R.T.!) online September 19-23 at www.bsu.edu/alumni/homecoming!
• T-Shirts – if you were not at the meeting, please get Kate your t-shirt size as soon as possible, so we can order our official Homecoming shirts!
• Banner Decorating & Parade- we will be participating in both of these events so help and participate please!  We won our division in the parade last year!  We have to defend our title!   We'll need to set up times to get together and decorate.  Banners are due October 3 and the Parade is October 15!
• Opening Day – we decided that we will not participate in these event.  But please still come out and enjoy!  It all kicks-off at Irving Gym on Monday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m.
• Bed Race – if you would like to participate, please let Kate know!  All of these forms are due by next Friday, 9/23!!  Bed Race is Friday, October 14 on Riverside Avenue.  Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. and the race is at 1:00 p.m.

Past Activity Reports- Thanks for all of your help!

• Pre-Game Football Rally 9/10 (Ashley, Jenny, Jen, Haley, Kyle) - Everyone did a tremendous job, plus this event sold out!
• Student Activities Information Fair 9/13 (John & Jeff) – Everyone enjoyed the event.  Plus we handed out the mouse pads!

Ebonee is this year's Bed Race Chairman and if you are interested in being on the sub-committee please let her know as soon as possible! There will be a sub-committee meeting on Thursday (9/15) at Bracken Library in room 410.  Come if you're interested!  Check with Ebonee for the time!
