Members Present:   Vince Bertram, Alena Bogucki, Steve Brace, Chris Carr, Mike Garringer, Michelle Harrell, Ernie Krug, Mary Link, Phil Metcalf, Joe Olah, Doug Siebert, Roy Weaver, Kate Webber, Eugene White, and Steve Yager. Eugene White called the meeting to order at 9:40 a.m.  After review of the July 12, 2006 minutes, Phil Metcalf made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Mary Link.   The minutes were approved by voice vote.

Symphony on the Prairie Outing Update
Dean Weaver gave a brief report on the Symphony on the Prairie outing.  133 people attended of which 31 were Teachers College alumni.

Children's Museum of Indianapolis Outing
The outing is scheduled for March 3, 2007.  Mike Garringer, Phil Metcalf, Eugene White, Joe Olah and Alena Bogucki volunteered to help the night of the outing.

Review of Forms
Teachers College Alumni Scholarship Form

• All scholarships will require a minimum grade point average of 3.0.

The second criteria in the General Scholarships section will be replaced with "Admitted to the teaching curriculum."

Changes to the Innovative Education Grant Form

• The word "Pre-K" will be added to the grades listed for eligible teachers in the second paragraph of the criteria page.
  
• Deadline date of the application changed to April 15 for every year.
  
• Recipients and their projects will be listed on the Web.  Before the page is added, a link will be sent to board members for approval.
  
• Bogucki will create the wording for a disclaimer to be added to the criteria page explaining the winners and their projects will be listed on the Web.
  

Outstanding Alumni Award Nomination Form

• No changes were made.
