A student who chooses the Bachelor of General Studies Degree must complete the following requirements:
- the 41-hour University Core Curriculum courses.
- one approved course in computer literacy.
- one of the following options:
- General Studies--requires one area of at least 36 credit hours approved by an academic department, or 2 areas of at least 18 hours, or 1 area and 1 minor, or 2 minors.
- Specialized Studies--requires an area of at least 36 hours approved by a department before the student's last 30 hours. Application is required for this option.
- Interdisciplinary Studies--requires an area of at least 36 hours in two or more academic disciplines, approved by the Dean of University College or Honors College before the student's last 63 hours. Application is required.
- sufficient electives to total 126 credit hours.
