In your first semester, you will likely select courses for your schedule that you will share with approximately 100 other students.  You will have opportunities to get to know many of these students, not only because you are learning together, but because you live in the same general location.  In addition, faculty, academic advisors, and housing staff will work as teams with each individual community, sharing in and offering activities outside the classroom which will be helpful to your adjustment and enrich your learning experiences.
