Services Saturday for university benefactor Virginia Ball
A public service for Virginia Ball will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at First Presbyterian Church, 1400 W. Riverside Ave. Mrs. Ball, 84, the widow of retired Ball Corp. executive Edmund “Ed” F. Ball, passed away in a Miami hospital Monday after suffering a stroke. Full Story

Students, employees help others enjoy holiday season
Despite the pressures of the holiday, and final exam, season, Ball State students and employees are taking time to help those less fortunate. Several campus organizations are sponsoring donation drives to help children and families in the university and Muncie communities. Full Story

Incubator director sees local entrepreneurial culture growing
All the right ingredients are in place for the local entrepreneurial culture to flourish, says the new director of the Muncie Innovation Connector. Morris Windhorst, who started Dec. 1 as director, said the community’s business incubator already enjoys support as a result of a partnership between Ball State, Cardinal Health Systems and the City of Muncie.
