Student wins national award
for Daffy Duck-inspired table
Dana Fear
thinks her table is just ducky. So did NICHE, a trade publication for
American crafts. The magazine honored the Ball State senior with a 2004
Student Niche Award for her work, “Duck Table.” The table resembles a
nightstand. Instead of having traditional legs, however, Fear carved
duck legs.

to spoof television reality shows
Ready to make fun of television's overzealous offering of reality shows
like "Survivor," "Trading Spaces" and "Blind Date"? Ball State's
"Reality TV Bytes" will do just that at 8 p.m. April 13, which will air
