Classes, organizations help to
build Habitat for Humanity home

More than 200 Ball State students from various organizations volunteered recently to help Habitat for Humanity finish a home for its new residents. Some of the volunteers were there as a part of their class work. Full Story

Beckie Adams teaches students in her marriage class how to be good valentines. They learn about emotional and physical intimacy, good communication, the difference between marriage and cohabitation, and the need to be a healthy person to find a good marriage partner. Full Story

Former business dean's 80th birthday to be celebrated
Ball State will celebrate the 80th birthday of J.B. Black, former dean of the Miller College of Business, March 4 with a roast and fund-raiser. Black was dean of the Miller College of Business from 1973 to 1984. He retired in 1988. Full Story

University to use $528,000 gift for merit scholarships
Ball State will be able to continue a number of academic initiatives as a result of a $528,000 gift from the estate of two longtime benefactors.
