[ How to use this Web-based learning module ]

This lab will give you an idea of what controls the movement of an aircraft using the concepts presented in the pre-lab. We will start by gathering materials and making our hypotheses of how wings and tails can control the movement of an airplane in model or full-scale flight. Materials:
  • Balsa wood glider
  • String
  • Scotch tape
  • Hobby or dissecting knife
  • Fan-capable of low speed
