Daniel Bernoulli was an 18th-century Swiss scientist and mathematician. In the mid-1700s, he discovered the basic principles of fluid behavior. In this case, a "fluid" can be a liquid or a gas. Fluid behavior deals with how a liquid or a gas moves and reacts in different situations. Bernoulli found that as the velocity (speed) of a fluid increases, its pressure decreases.
