About the Adult Physical Fitness Program (APFP)
- History: The program was started in the late 1960's by Dr. Bud Getchell and has operated continuously since its inception.
- Mission Statement
- Overview: Designed for adults who can be classified as low or moderate risk for developing cardiovascular disease (according to national guidelines from health and medical organizations); however, the program does provide services for some individuals with chronic diseases. For specific information about eligibility, please contact the program office.

- Daily supervision by trained exercise staff
- Annual progress evaluation
- Motivational programs
- Exercise Program Staff
- Modes of Exercise Training:
- Treadmill walking/ running
- Cycling (upright, arm/ leg, recumbent)
- Matrix Hybrid Bike
- Elliptical ellipticalpic
- Resistance training
- Stair climbing
- Cross- country skiing
- Rowing

- $295 - Physical fitness evaluation and 295 (calendar) day membership
- $220 - Annual membership renewal
